Certifications

Telematics solutions for fleets, certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001.

We design, develop and deliver the Zenit platform under a quality management system and an information security management system, both verified by an independent certification body. For fleet managers that means documented processes, regular audits and GPS tracking data handled under clear rules.

  • ISO 9001:2015Quality management. Certificate no. 26UQAV62.
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022Information security. Certificate no. 26UQAB59.
At a glance

Two certifications covering the service you actually use.

Both certificates cover the design, development, delivery, management and maintenance of software solutions and telematics services for satellite tracking, remote monitoring, telemetry and fleet and vehicle management.

ISO 9001:2015 — Quality

Defined, audited processes for development, releases, support and service improvement.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — Security

Risks to data confidentiality, integrity and availability assessed and managed, cloud and IoT infrastructure included.

ISO 9001:2015: what it means and what it changes for you.

ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management systems. It does not certify a product but the way a company works: documented, applied and checked over time.

What it means

Every activity that affects the service, from gathering requirements to development, release and support, follows defined procedures. Quality objectives are measured and problems become corrective actions.

What it changes for you

  • Activations and releases follow defined procedures, not individual initiative.
  • Support requests and reports are logged, assigned and closed with an outcome.
  • Recurring problems become corrective actions, not just one-off fixes.
  • An independent body checks every year that the system actually works.

Certificate and validity

Certificate no. 26UQAV62, issued to ORBITA S.R.L., the company behind Zenit Telematics. Issued by AQC (Assurance Quality Certification) on 12 October 2026 and valid until 11 October 2029, with annual surveillance audits.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022: what it means and what it changes for you.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems. It requires identifying risks to data, choosing suitable controls and checking them over time.

What it means

We run a system that assesses risks to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and applies documented controls to people, processes and technology. The certification also covers IT, cloud and IoT infrastructure and the data processed.

What it changes for you

  • Positions, routes, events and driver data are handled within a certified security system.
  • Cloud infrastructure and IoT devices fall under the same certified management system.
  • Risks are reassessed regularly and controls updated accordingly.
  • When qualifying suppliers, you start from a verifiable certification, not just statements.

Certificate and validity

Certificate no. 26UQAB59, issued to ORBITA S.R.L., with Statement of Applicability v1.0 dated 12 May 2026. Issued by AQC (Assurance Quality Certification) on 12 October 2026 and valid until 11 October 2029, with annual surveillance audits.

What a certification does not replace.

The certificates describe how we work. Some decisions about your fleet data remain with your organisation.

Your GDPR responsibilities

Purposes, legal bases, driver notices and retention periods remain decisions of the data controller. The platform provides the technical tools, such as role-based access and traceability.

Your project requirements

Hosting, data location and specific contractual requirements are checked against the documentation for each project. If your company uses a supplier security questionnaire, we can start from there.

FAQ

Questions about Zenit's certifications.

Short answers on what the certificates cover and how to verify them.

Is Zenit Telematics ISO 27001 certified?

Yes. ORBITA S.R.L., the company behind Zenit Telematics, is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 under certificate no. 26UQAB59, valid until 11 October 2029. It covers the design, development and delivery of fleet telematics services, including cloud and IoT infrastructure and the data processed.

What is the difference between ISO 9001 and ISO 27001?

ISO 9001 is about the quality of processes and service: how we work and how we improve. ISO/IEC 27001 is about information security: how we protect the data the platform processes. They are two separate systems, both certified.

How can I verify the certificates?

Download the PDFs from this page and look up the certificate number in the Clients Directory on the website of the certification body AQC, aqcworld.com.

Do the certifications make my company GDPR compliant?

No. They attest to how we manage quality and information security in our service. Whether the processing of your fleet data is compliant also depends on your organisation's decisions, notices and procedures.

Why are the certificates issued to ORBITA S.R.L.?

Because ORBITA S.R.L. is the company that owns the Zenit Telematics brand and provides the platform. The certificates cover the services offered under the Zenit brand.
