Guides

Less theory, more answers to precise questions.

Zenit guides provide operational answers about vehicle monitoring, fuel use and stops, maintenance, geofences and tachographs. Each guide separates available data, technical checks and organisational or legal responsibility, using primary sources whenever it states a legal duty.

Which guides require checks against primary sources?

The GPS, fuel, geofence and maintenance guides describe methods and limits; the tachograph guides also provide the legal texts that should be checked.

Tachograph downloads

The maximum periods quoted in the guide come from Regulation (EU) No 581/2010.

2026 extension to light commercial vehicles

The European perimeter derives from Regulation (EU) 2020/1054. Exceptions and applicability require a check against the transport actually performed.

Are the guides already available?

Some yes and are found in this section. The list grows when there is something useful to say, not on a calendar basis: we prefer one less guide to a guide that repeats what is already found everywhere. Each guide declares the sources and the date of last verification.
